October: relativism
The goal is to give the students clear ideas about relativism and, more importantly, to let them see that it is not a consistent or coherent doctrine, even though it is very widespread in our culture.

Is there any truth that is true for everyone, or is truth different for each person or culture?
Is it possible to have certain knowledge of anything, especially non-scientific questions?
What is truth and what is certainty?
Is relativism a consistent position?
